About the event
A Wellbeing for Life Meeting - At the request of one of our members, we will be tackling the topic of dementia at this meeting. Much progress has been made in recent years, in the identification and management of this puzzling condition. We will learn some of the basic facts, and be made aware of the sources of help and support.
Wellbeing for Life Meetings normally take place on the first Wednesday of each month, in Jesmond Library. Each month's meeting has a different theme, all within the overall context of the Five Ways to Wellbeing. All are welcome to join us, but the meetings are primarily for older people. Refreshments are provided and the Community Minibus may be available if transport is an issue for you. Attendance is free, but donations help cover the cost of refreshments. Please email events@jesmondlibrary.org if you have any queries including possible help with transport.
